Happy New Year - from ABBA!
Is there any better way to bring in the New Year!?
OK. Probably... But I still found this highly amusing.
Amazing Baby is amazing
I discovered the Brooklyn band Amazing Baby this month after hearing about them at a recent show I was at. Being a sucker for Glam influenced rock bands (See MGMT and of Montreal below), I found Amazing Baby to be, well, amazing...
Check out their creative vid for Head Dress below.
They’re released their bebut demo EP, “Infinite Fucking Cross”, as a free Internet download, Get it here.

That kid rocks! His parents? Not so much...
Admit it. You’ve sung to this before too.

Menomena - 'Evil Bee'
Menomena scored a big win by teaming up with director Stefan Nadelman for this great video for 'Evil Bee'
You can download their full album, Friend or Foe, here.
of Montreal on Letterman
A little bit tame for an of Montreal performance, but it was still nice to see them network TV.
I just saw them live and it was awesome. The audience was Austin, TX in its hippy-trippyest best. They didn’t just walk by us, they gracefully floated past like wisps of baby’s breath...

Pancake Mountain
So Yo Gabba Gabba may be your go-to when you’re wrist deep in Doritos after wacky tobaccy, but seriously… You should be watching Pancake Mountain instead.

MGMT - 'The Youth'
Flying Lotus - 'Parisian Goldfish'
Have you seen Tim & Eric's Awesome Show on Adult Swim?
It’s well, totally awesome.
Eric Wareheim has produced a music video for Flying Lotus that’s definitely NSFW and has such an overabundance of ridiculously bright, yet fabulous, flashing lights Hypnotoad is envious.

The freshest move I’ve ever seen
So, you remember the Utah Saints, right? I just had to share this because it makes me feel like a big bunch of special with each watch. They've 'redone' their '89 single 'Something Good' (you know, the one w/ the Kate Bush sample) for '08 and the video is hella campy and fun.
I trust after watching you'll be out doing the Running Man somewhere…
Hey, didja know you can turn off annoying Youtube annotations!?
